Easy Winter Cocktails

There’s nothing like a festive cocktail to get you into the Christmas Spirit! We’ve brought together 5 of our favourite cocktail recipes using our amazing drinkware, including our Double Walled Mugs and Whiskey Tumblers. So gather your cocktail shaker, ice and your favourite alcohol to create these amazing cocktails below:

White Christmas Margaritas

White Christmas Margaritas

You will need: (Serves 6)

  • Whiskey Tumblers
  • 1 can of unsweetened coconut milk
  • 12oz of tequila
  • 8oz of triple sec
  • 4 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 4 cups of ice
  • Lime slices for garnish
  • Winterberries for garnish
  • Sugar and lime wedge for the glasses rim

1. First, you want to start by combining the coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice and ice in a blender. Once it is all added, blend the ingredients until smooth.

2. Next, pour some sugar into a bowl or on a plate and use the lime wedge to rim the edge of the glasses with lime juice.

3. Once you have coated the glasses rims with lime juice, simply dip the glasses into the sugar and gently give it a swirl until you’ve got a nice coating of sugar.

4. Finally, pour the blended cocktail into your Tumblers and garnish with some tasty winter berries and a yummy lime wedge, et voila you have a drink that looks like it was made by a pro and also tastes divine!

Rumchata Hot Chocolate

Rumchata Hot Chocolate

You will need: (Serves 2)

  • Double Walled Mugs
  • 590ml of whole milk
  • 32g of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 170g of dark chocolate chips
  • 4oz of rumchata
  • Squirty cream for serving
  • Chocolate sauce for serving
  • Milk chocolate chunks for serving

1. Start by pouring your milk into a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat on your stove. Once it comes to a simmer, whisk in the sugar and cocoa powder and stir until no lumps remain.

2. Next, stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract and stir occasionally until all the chocolate has completely melted. Make sure to keep your eye on this so it doesn't spoil.

3. Once it's to a nice consistency and smooth, turn off the heat and stir in the rumchata.

4. Whilst the mixture is still hot, pour the hot chocolate mixture into the Double Walled Mugs and decorate with a few swirls of squirty cream, a drizzle of your favourite chocolate sauce and pop the chocolate slabs on top!

Mistletoe Mules

Mistletoe Mules

You will need: (Serves 2)

  • Stainless Steel Mugs
  • Ice to fill your cup
  • 2oz of vodka
  • 1oz lime juice
  • 1 can of ginger beer
  • 4 tablespoons of pomegranate seeds
  • Candy canes for garnish
  • Mint sprigs for garnish
  • Chocolate sauce for serving
  • Milk chocolate for serving

This is a super speedy cocktail to make but it is sure to become a new festive favourite!

1. Fill the two Stainless Steel mugs with ice until they are almost filled.

2. Pour into each mug 1oz of vodka and also ½ ounce of lime juice. (You can add a little extra if you like yours strong!)

3. Fill the rest of the cup with your favourite ginger beer to get your perfect balance.

4. Finally, garnish your drink with sprigs of fresh mint and a candy cane to make your cocktail look super Christmassy!

Cranberry Cinnamon Whiskey Sours

Cranberry Cinnamon Whiskey Sours

You will need: (Serves 4)

  • 2 Tall Drinking Glasses
  • 250g of cranberries
  • 250g of sugar
  • 470ml of water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6oz whiskey
  • 4oz lemon juice
  • 2oz orange juice
  • 2oz lime juice
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

1. In a medium saucepan add the cranberries, water, sugar and cinnamon sticks.

2. Once all the ingredients are in the pan, keep these on heat and bring it to boil.

3. Once it starts to boil, immediately reduce to a simmer and continue to cook whilst stirring occasionally until the cranberries have burst open and can be stirred into a smooth consistency (this will take around 10 minutes).

4. Once done, strain the syrup to remove all of the cranberry skin. Let the syrup cool for at least 10 minutes.

5. Once the mixture has cooled, add 180ml of the simple syrup to a cocktail shaker along with the whiskey, lemon juice, orange juice, lime juice and a large handful of ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, so the mixture is well combined and ice cold!

6. Serve straight away, we love this drink so much we decided to serve it into 2 Tall Drinking Glasses, to get double the serving! (it is Christmas after all!)

Pomegranate and Vermouth Mulled Wine

Pomegranate and Vermouth Mulled Wine

You will need: (Serves 6)

  • Unbreakable Wine Glasses
  • 500ml of 100% pomegranate juice
  • 100ml red vermouth
  • 200ml red wine
  • 2 sliced oranges
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 allspice berries
  • Star anise for garnish
  • Orange slices for garnish

1. Simply add all the ingredients (excluding those for garnish) into a large saucepan and set over a low heat while occasionally stirring to melt the honey.

2. Gently simmer the mixture for 10 minutes.

3. Taste the drink to see how sweet it is, and add sugar depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have.

4. Once all added sugar has dissolved, strain the mixture and serve into our Unbreakable Wine Glasses, garnish with star anise and an orange slice.

5. Then head outside to take in the crisp Winter air, whilst sipping your toasty wine!
